Yasmin Mokha  | Interior Designer – Rio Architects  |  Cardiff

I have an Interior Design degree from the University of South Wales (formally known as the University of Glamorgan). I have worked in a design firm from the very start of my degree allowing me to gain 6 years of experience. This  has allowed me to work on multi million pound contracts ranging from, schools, care homes, MOD, offices, high end resi and hotels. I particularly enjoy working on concept and development design alongside clients and the team.

I have a keen eye for design and creativity in and out of my working day, by joining Doozie in late 2014 it has allowed me to expand my network base, meet new people and get involved and organise creative events. As a team we are keen to keep out network base expanding and keep up to date with the latest trends and design, whilst having fun of course.

I work within the marketing team at HLM; my work ranges from bid coordination to document design and presentations for future clients. In the past I have created bespoke promotional material and exciting interactive event features. I think every good design should have elements of narrative, relevance and accessibility. Joining Doozie in 2014 has enabled me to conjure, converse and connect with likeminded professionals. There is purpose, originality and a lot of fun in everything that we do.

In 2013 I graduated from CSAD with a First Class Honours degree in Illustration. Since then I have created bespoke paper goods for local clients and opened an Etsy store. I am now working on a series of paintings which focus on the endangered species of our planet.

For inspiration I walk on mountains,  sunshine and the illustrated streets of Stokes Croft – camera at the ready.

Mark Hodge  |  Jurasik 3D  |  Cardiff

Jurasik is a 3D visualisation studio based in Cardiff. We create realistic visuals by blending 3D rendering, photography and post-production together resulting in memorable marketing visuals for print, online, presentation and interactive media.

I joined the Doo:zie team at the very first event as it was exactly what I thought the creative people in and around Cardiff needed, we are still pushing the same ethos as when planning events all those years ago, to get the Cardiff design scene top collaborate and thrive as a whole, and of course to have fun along the way.

Hywel Glynn-Jones |  Account Manager – Do Digital Realities  |  Cardiff

I graduated from the University of South Wales (formerly UWIC) with a 2.1 BA (Hons) in Product Design. I’ve since spent the majority of my career in and around interior design working as space planner, design consultant and project management.

I’m now an Account Manager for Do Digital Realities taking care of clients and making sure the company continues to deliver high quality 3D projects. I’m fortunate to work with a group of very talented individuals producing everything from photorealistic visuals to real-time virtual experiences. It’s a great position for me as I enjoy a client facing role, combined with managing the projects within the company. A large percentage of my job role is communicating; both with the team producing the work and the client. Being digitally based allows us to work with people all over the world, which means there’s always something new to chat about. Although not a designer anymore, I’m lucky enough to work with designers on a daily basis on some truly awe-inspiring projects. I even get to influence a design every now and then too!

Joining the Doo:zie team is great opportunity for me to meet like-minded individuals and further explore my ever expanding network of designers, friends and socialites.

Delyth Williams  |  Harmasen Tiley Shane  |  Bristol

With a background in architecture and interior design I’ve always surrounded myself with like-minded people.

Working as a designer at Harmsen Tilney Shane, who specialise in workplace consultancy and interior design has given me a great foundation to collaborate with creative, knowledgeable and interesting individuals and I look forward to introducing them to Doo:zie Bristol. It’s a perfect opportunity to blend business with pleasure.

When I’m not tied to my desk, I can be found working up a sweat in the gym or daydreaming about unicorns. I also enjoy looking for little treasures in antique shops. After all, who doesn’t like a sparkly brooch to add to their ‘granny chic’ wardrobe?!

Rebecca Mizzi-Harris  |  Lead Interior Designer – COS Interiors  |   Cardiff

Studied BA Interior Architecture at Cardiff School of Art & Design and graduated in 2013. After uni, I planned to take a 1 year break from Interior Design and accidentally progressed in visual merchandising and retail management. Then after a 1 year break turned into 2, I weighed up my options of retail or interiors… I took the plunge and quit my job with nothing in the pipeline, to commit myself fully into finding my way into the world of design. I became self employed, exploring my graphic/illustrative interests and set up shop on Etsy and gained private clients too while searching for jobs. That same year, I finally found a job in Interior Design, and continue to work self employed on the side because I rather enjoy it!
